I graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in Journalism. From there, I started my career in Washington DC working in public relations, but quickly realized that politics was not for me. Luckily, I transitioned into the tourism industry in Baltimore, where I worked for 10 years at prominent tourism attractions, doing marketing and event planning.
